Need Your Votes In My Poll Please
Awhile ago I started a HAED design called Mini Ariadne:
The going has been very slow and I finally kicked myself in the butt and decided that she WILL!! be finished this year. I worked out how many blocks I need to do every day to get her completed on the last day of the year. It isn't that much actually, 3 blocks for the first 10 days of 2014 and then 2 blocks a day for the rest of the year... excluding 7 days, because we go away for a week every year, and I will not take such a big project along.
Unfortunately I am way behind, as I should be almost half way with the 2nd page by now, and I have actually not even finished page 1. So it's playing catch up time for the next few days.
As an incentive I bought myself a few patterns at the last sale. In no particular order:
Mini Umbrella Sky by Marta Dahlig
Mini Winter Rose by Rachel Anderson
The Witching Hour by Lisa Parker
Mermaid Ariel by Alena Lazarova

As fabric and threads are not cheap as they are "imports" I would like to be able to spend the year kitting up one of these designs so that it will be ready to start on the first day of 2015. By kitting it up a little every month, the hubby won't have a heart attack:-)
The problem is that I really can't decide which one to be 2015 HAED project and so I need your help in deciding. I have made a Poll and you will find it on the top right of my blog. Please share which one is your favourite of these and the one with the most votes will be the one I choose.
P.S Can anyone help me with another thing? I see on some blogs where they have thier photos with a white border around it and it actually has a caption at the bottom of the picture. It kind of reminds me of what the old polaroids pics used to look like and I would really love to know how it is done.

2014 Smalls SAL Very Late Update Due To Technology
Technology really drives me nuts sometimes. I use my phone to take my photo's as it takes them reasonably well and have never had a problem until now.
I tried to get my pics for the update on the 29th but my phone just would not show up on my laptop. I tried everything from shutting down my phone and my laptop and nothing worked. I tried it a few times over the course and still nothing... and then today all of a sudden it works!!!!
Anyway I don't know if I still get counted as it's late but anyway here goes.
First is the one I had stitched before and didn't finish. I only had to add the gold metallic and then turn it into the decoration.
And here is the one I did for the SAL from start to finish:

I spray my decorations with scotchguard and was totally sad to see that the red I used around the edges ran on one of the decorations. It has never happend before so it was a bit of a shock. Luckily not too much damage but it still bugs me. I guess I will have to wash the threads and hope it doesn't run if I use it on a project as I like washing my stitching once done.
